Every year the LOHP hosts walks, talks, courses and other events to introduce members and visitors alike to the wildlife and landscape of the headwaters of the Little Ouse valley.

Bird identification walk 15 June 2017 18.15 for an 18.30 departure Parkers Piece Places are limited for this walk to improve your bird identification skills and see and hear some of the breeding brids of the valley fens - please book in advance by texting Bev on 07747 691285 or email beverly.blackburn [at] Donations welcome.
Moth trapping evening 8 July 2017 from 21.00 (weather dependent!) The Frith Weather permitting, this will be a wonderful opportunity to see some of the amazing variety of moths that frequent the valley fens and woods. Two options are available: from 9pm on Saturday evening or 6am on Sunday morning for the keenies and 9am for the rest of us! The workparty will then take place, so feel free to join us. Annual meeting, talk & members' evening

19.30 Redgrave Activities Centre All are welcome to our AGM and ever popular Annual talk and members' evening. This year's talk, by Dr Pam Taylor, will be on dragonflies, with particular reference to our area. Pam is a former president of the British Dragonfly Society. The talk will be followed by a chance to look at displays, including  some of our Creative Arts Group's work, and seasonal refreshments; contributions of finger foods and raffle prizes will be gratefully received.
